Down in the technical services
workshop, the team must find ways of displaying objects of every
shape and size imaginable. There's a, kind of, constant
back and forth between working on the mount and fitting it. Technician Ben is crafting an
invisible Perspex mount fit for a Queen's writing case. I've just tried to follow the
line of the lid, which actually slopes off... ..just to make sure that we're
holding it nicely into two points. It's been plucked from the stores
to be the star exhibit for the celebration of
Queen Victoria's birth
