A Mustang day. Ford Mustang. Practical enough for this family of five, yet beautiful enough to be honored
with the Tiffany Gold Medal for Excellence in American Design. And then, you know,
along comes Carroll Shelby. The Mustang was very, very popular, but it was a secretary's car,
a little six-cylinder engine, and they wanted to put a V8 in it. They wanted a sportier version
that had wider appeal, especially to the performance enthusiasts, and I thought, "Man, you can't make a mule
outrun a racehorse." The Mustangs were a real transformation, and that was when the shop
became really super overcrowded, and they realized they had to do something
and get a bigger shop. Well, they moved from that small shop
at Princeton Street, and they moved to the airport
