Every year, you would accept maybe one in four drivers
to have a huge accident and some of them to die. The Grand Prix, as a circuit,
I think they lost half of the stars of the racing here
in the United States that year, and it was not uncommon for us to lose four or five drivers a year
back in the '50s. Fire is racing's worst enemy, but you gotta keep goin', hope like heck some of that stuff
don't happen to you
