I should work for a summer, so he said to me, "You know, Edsel, you've got to figure out
where you want to work." I said, "I want to work
for Carroll Shelby." He hired my dad
as like an intern for the summer 'cause I think my grandfather
probably made him, but my dad loved it.
And-- And I think, in many ways, Carroll was
like a father figure to my dad
