and Plexiglas windows, made the cars lighter. We modified the engine, and also welded in override traction bars to make the suspension stronger. In the assembly line, they built those GT350s
that were strictly for the street, and we sold them
to the customers for $5,900. And then in the other hangar,
they built R models... and they were strictly for the track
