Even though I was turned down three times,
there was something in me that just said, "Keep trying." I don't know what I would
have done if I had failed, but I was kind of
naive enough to just keep my nose on that
path to achieve my dream. Disney was the mountaintop for me,
as far as standard of animation, and it still is. I still wanna get better. I still feel like there's a lot
of animation left in me to do. I still enjoy animating, and I still get that kick of seeing,
you know, just a stack of, you know, loose drawings that when
they're shot on camera, all of a sudden it ceases to
be just a stack of drawings, but the characters come to life
