The bug bit really hard. I didn't quite understand
how it all worked, but I just knew that there was
something magical about these drawings coming to life. And somehow, they made these
drawings that didn't just move, they lived, they breathed. I just kept drawing whenever
there were projects at school, and it wasn't until
I got to college, "I thought, " Well, I should
put a portfolio together, and... and apply to Disney." So, I sent it directly
to the studio. And I got a reply, and they said, "Well", "you obviously have some talent, but this
is what we'd like to see in a portfolio." And at that point, life kind of
threw a bit of a monkey wrench, uh, in my life, and that I
was diagnosed with scoliosis, which is, you know,
curvature of the spine
how it all worked, but I just knew that there was
