you try to do it en bloc. If you start taking it out
piecemeal, you leave bits behind, it all gets very messy. You'll feel the hard cancer
and you cut round it, aiming for a centimetre
all the way around it. Mallet, please. They use a chisel and mallet
to complete cuts in the bone
