a Jewish Ukrainian chef and her wife, Trina. They're on a mission
to reclaim Jessica's roots by unveiling it to others
at their pop-up restaurant Dacha 46. JESSICA:
I came up as a pastry chef in restaurants. I feel like Dacha 46
has been this very cathartic, like, therapeutic journey for me, where it was always very much
thought of as being home cooking so the idea of, you know, cooking it to sell to the public
never crossed my mind until-- Really?
