"Who is that guy?" The Grand Wall might be the most iconic route
in Squamish. And I'd climbed it the fastest
bottom to top. I mean, speed records are
a game and they're definitely not the most important thing
in climbing, but I do love speed records.
[CHUCKLES] And then this local kid,
who I had never even heard of, did it faster. [MARC] I was soloin' the route
quite regularly, and one time I just decided to see how long
it would take me
