finally cleared enough for search and rescue to fly a helicopter
into that zone and get visuals
of their descent route. With all the new snow, conditions were too dangerous
to land there, but they spotted a rope. [TENSE MUSIC RISES] It was covered
in avalanche debris, and it was clear that Marc
