When I think
of my high school days, all I can remember
are the long walks to school. Past the babushkas
and the overalls and the coal signs. I wasn't very close to anyone,
although I guess I wanted to be. Because when I would see the kids
telling one another their problems, I felt left out. I was
almost four years older, and he was a little blond-haired kid that I would take by the hand to school
