Why didn't you take the shot? This was a scene that Frank Marshall,who has produced all three of the films, always argued for, and he was quite right. You need to have this final encounter for the trilogy,for this film, to be truly satisfying. And, of course, Bourne's use of wordshearkens back to the confrontation he had with the Professor, Clive Owenin Bourne Identity, where the roles were reversedand Bourne was holding the gun and the Professor was on the ground

Movie Summary
Bourne is brought out of hiding once again by reporter Simon Ross who is trying to unveil Operation Blackbriar, an upgrade to Project Treadstone, in a series of newspaper columns. Information from the reporter stirs a new set of memories, and Bourne must finally uncover his dark past while dodging The Company's best efforts to eradicate him.
