Yeah, I've been lucky
to experience quite a few. I lived in New York
for seven and a half years and so it's like my second home. {\an8}At a young age, I was working at the top
restaurant in New Zealand for two years. But I thrive off pressure, {\an8}so I sold everything I had,
jumped on a plane, and moved to New York City. The day I landed,
I put myself into a hostel, jumped on the subway, and went to a restaurant
called Public Restaurant. I was completely underprepared, and three months later,
I was the sous chef, and so I learned most
of my culinary skills in this country. It's time to start cooking. Judges, please be seated. Chefs, you will have just 60 minutes to create one dish that is inspired by an entire
