Down the hill in Aviemore, not everyone's unhappy with
the early closure of the mountain. At La Taverna, Toni has
completed his restaurant renovations just in time to welcome
the frustrated skiers. It's been amazing.
It's worked out really well for us. The old buffet was great, but it was
outdated, and it was too small. So by opening it right up, and giving
people different ports to head to, you can see it operating -
it's just going really well. The crowds are flocking
to his buffet bar and the kitchen is buzzing. So many people are dining. We've got a queue right down here
now, so we just have to keep going. Excuse me! Finally, pre-season
is officially over and winter on Cairngorm has begun
