freezing January morning, and as mountain boss
Colin Matthew drives the icy road from Aviemore to the mountain,
he's anticipating a hard day ahead to get the resort
open for the New Year skiers. A lot of snow on the top
half of the hill, so could be a big digging
job this morning. If the wind subsides today
could be a busy day. First Saturday after New Year. Some of his team have
been on the mountain since 4am. I can see some lights
up near the top of the hill. So, probably Adam and Tom
are up with the machines now. Ops 1 to Kiwi 2. RADIO: 'Morning, Colin!' Morning. A lot of digging at the tunnel
to do for them, Adam? 'It's not too bad, Colin. 'Three or four guys'll get it
shifted pretty quick.'
