RADIO: 'Hey, Col, it's just to say
that the 105 traverse, 'all very good skiing.' And are we clear to start
the M1 Poma for access? Over. By 9 o'clock on the hill,
the tunnel mouth is clear, the ski runs are prepared,
the punters are queuing to get on the slopes,
and the boss is a happy man. Yeah, it's shaping up pretty well
there, especially after going from zero start to
a stormbound blizzard yesterday. The high winds this morning that
first came in have just calmed down. We've got bottom lifts on.
Train's ready to go. Great effort from the team. Early guys in at four
in the morning, five in the morning, digging the tunnel out. The same guys that dug
the tunnel are working the ski lift. So, a quick bacon roll
and they're back out on their posts. Yeah, it's looking good. As the customers keep rolling in, the pressure is on to get
as many runs open as possible
