The half-term holidays are a key
moment for the ski resort. A successful week will mean
the difference between a great season and a poor one. Head of operations, Colin Matthew,
has got to make sure the train and lifts are ready for the rush. Masses of snow after that storm. Huge drifts round the top station,
the tunnel mouth. So the whole team's just,
sort of, digging out. The sheer volume of snow, it's just
amazing, from mid-mountain up. And if we just, er,
keep consolidating the snow we've got for half-term,
it's looking pretty promising. Pretty upbeat. If we get a good half-term... it can make and break the whole
season, really
