offshore was a kind of small, minor, who cares, you know,
little aspect of the economic system we knew
not so much about, and after reading
the Panama Papers, I realized it is
the economic system. It is the system. Eight trillion dollars
is stuffed in tax havens, western countries,
including the U.S., are losing about 200 billion
dollars a year in tax revenues
