I later found out
when speaking to Amelie's parents that what indeed they'd done
was they had gone round there, there were two detectives
in a car parked on the drive, Amelie's father came home
from work and they got out of the car
and said, "Are you Mr Delagrange?" And he said, "Yes," and they said,
"Oh, can you ring this number, "your daughter has been
murdered in England," and they got in the car
and drove off
