one of the things that came out was this change
during the interview because it's not very often
that that happens and there was a defensive play,
if you like, a defensive council play on the fact that how did Mr Al Haddad gone from giving one story on one day to a different story the second day, but it was very well put
by our council, Brian Altman QC
who explained that away as saying
"This is officers seeking the truth" which is in effect, what we do,
and that's exactly what happened
