So, after this one man, Glenn,
who's so articulate starts saying all these things about God,
country, family, all the rest, immediately there's the picture
of seven astronauts as these sort of God-fearing,
small town family men. And the rest of them were stuck with it. They either had a choice
of raising their hands and saying, "Now wait a minute, I...
I don't really go on with that, "I don't think you have
to be all that faithful to your wife "and your children and the church," or else doing the wise thing
and saying, "Me, too." I'm not real active in the church as, uh, Mr. Glenn is, but, uh, I consider myself
a good Christian still
