There had been some trouble
with the heat shield equipment over Hawaii, and they have taken
a precautionary measure to keep the heat shield equipment
on with the retro package for a while, to make sure that the warning
they got was a false warning. And so, the heat shield retro packet
was kept on the space capsule, and, uh, precautions were taken. Uh, this is Friendship 7, uh, going
to reentry attitude then in that case
with the heat shield equipment over Hawaii, and they have taken
