I fetched coffee for my boss and made him feelgood about himself. I spent most of my days reading stupid inspirationale-mails to try and feel goodabout myself. There was this onethat kept going around. A young womanwas having a hard time and told her momshe wanted to give up, so her mom went to the kitchen and started boilingthree pots of water. She put a carrot in one,an egg in another, and ground coffee beansin the last one. After they had boileda while, her mom said, "Look, all three things wentthrough the same boiling water.
