Kevin Arnold - The Narrator:
And so we finally got our new car. It wasn't red, It wasn't a convertible, heck, It wasn't even a Mustang. But it was brand new. And it was pretty cool. 'Course, Dad got his shot at king-for-a-day... and we were happy for him. But that afternoon, I began to understand what Dad had been going through. There was more to that old car than fuel pumps and crankshafts. There was a part of all of us in that car. The places we'd gone, the things we'd done... the family we had been. The family that was moving on. And for the first time, I understood the value of what my Dad had put into it. And why it was so hard to let it go

00:01:44.703 --> 00:01:47.871
THERE WAS PART OF ALL OF US IN THAT CAR
00:01:47.873 --> 00:01:52.002
THE PLACES WE'D GONE THE THINGS WE'D DONE
00:01:52.997 --> 00:01:57.001

00:01:57.682 --> 00:02:01.351
AND FOR THE FIRST TIME I UNDERSTOOD THE VALUE
00:02:01.999 --> 00:02:04.821
OF WHAT MY DAD HAD PUT INTO IT
00:02:04.999 --> 00:02:07.724
IT DIDN'T TAKE LONG TO GET TO MEET YOU
00:02:07.726 --> 00:02:10.999
AND WHY IT WAS SO HARD TO LET IT GO
00:02:10.929 --> 00:02:16.499
GUESS IT'S TIME TO THINK ABOUT WHERE WE'RE BOUND
00:02:18.001 --> 00:02:22.001
TRYING WAY TO HARD TO FALL BACK EVERY DAY
