that time from a supposed fall down the stairs,
so that leads me to think that the vise grip
came here around that time, and they took the place over
with their tech, I guess, and they made the place habitable
by updating the wiring and the heating and throwing
a fucking TV downstairs for pizzazz, or whatever. And then they used
that dead time and beyond to relocate people
for whatever reason, and then clean up after them as if no one
was ever here at all. So when we snuck in, we tipped
them off with the trace that they didn't recognize,
and that's how we got stuck
