I knew very well I would be
called up for the forces, so I volunteered
for the Horse Guards. INTERVIEWER: And how did it go?
What was your army career like? Fine, fine, it was very nice.
I learnt how to ride. Big horses, they're massive,
frightening, you know, 17 hands high, 17 hands.
No feet, just hands. (BOTH LAUGH)
