sort of thing. You have a dinner, everyone has
a drink and then Tommy came out. Tommy Cooper was one of the most
popular acts in club land and he'd worked 52 weeks a year,
Monday through to Saturday,
never on a Sunday. It was his life's blood. This previously unseen footage
of Tommy's classic hat routine was shot without sound, but Cooper
so perfectly rehearsed his gags, that we can add sound from
a later performance
and the two miraculously match up. Then up comes an old banker
who happened to be there
