China is working on its own
expanding space program and has built the world's
largest radio telescope: the 500-meter Aperture Spherical
Radio Telescope, or FAST for short. The cost of building
this tremendous telescope reached $184 million. If the aliens
don't want to show up officially, China could decipher their messages. Over the last 15-20 years, China has been using all of their
kind of scientific resources, their ability to pay, to be able
to duplicate western technologies to try and catch up to what the Americans
and what the Russians had done previously
