fifth-grade elementary school student in Dalnegorsk, Siberia, is returning home when he suddenly spots
a low-flying, glowing object. It heads towards the nearby mountains
colliding with one of them. Other eyewitnesses also later confirm that the object hit a peak
called Izvestkovaya or Height 611. The fireball flies
slowly parallel to the ground, accurately following the surface terrain. It rises and drops several times. There is no explosion on impact,
only a resounding bang, followed by brief fires among the trees
