actually pretty similar to NYC, parts of Argentina, Brazil,
Bolivia and Uruguay. The climate in their homeland
is mostly humid subtropical and so is a lot of the US,
including New York City. -BALDWIN: Here they come!
-(birds squawking) As Steve will tell you, monk parakeets have a secret
for keeping warm. Unlike other parrots,
these guys are builders. Like here at the cemetery's
main gatehouse. As you can see there's
a huge communal nest up at the top of it
