The Republicans
have lost the presidency. They are the minority in
Congress and in most states. With America demanding change,
I don't see... The GOP
is a party in disarray. Clearly, Watergate,
the Vietnam War... President Carter went up on the roof
of the White House today to show off the new
solar water heaters installed there. Today,
in directly harnessing the power of the sun,
we are taking the energy that God gave us, the most renewable energy
that we will ever see, and using it to replace
our dwindling supplies of fossil fuels. There is no longer
any question that solar energy is both feasible
and also cost-effective

The Republicans
have lost the presidency.
00:00:03.435 --> 00:00:05.902
They are the minority in
Congress and in most states.
00:00:05.904 --> 00:00:08.172
With America demanding change,
I don't see...
00:00:08.174 --> 00:00:10.341
The GOP
is a party in disarray.
00:00:10.343 --> 00:00:12.708
Clearly, Watergate,
the Vietnam War...
00:00:12.071 --> 00:00:13.911
President Carter went up
00:00:13.913 --> 00:00:15.344
on the roof
of the White House today
00:00:15.346 --> 00:00:17.681
to show off the new
solar water heaters
00:00:17.683 --> 00:00:19.999
installed there.
00:00:19.998 --> 00:00:20.817
Today,
in directly harnessing
00:00:20.819 --> 00:00:22.353
the power of the sun,
we are taking
00:00:22.355 --> 00:00:24.042
the energy that God gave us,
00:00:24.422 --> 00:00:28.029
the most renewable energy
that we will ever see,
00:00:28.292 --> 00:00:30.826
and using it to replace
our dwindling supplies
00:00:30.828 --> 00:00:32.397
of fossil fuels.
00:00:33.866 --> 00:00:35.299
There is no longer
any question
00:00:35.301 --> 00:00:37.006
that solar energy
00:00:37.602 --> 00:00:41.106
is both feasible
and also cost-effective.
