and in Kansas City, Missouri as well. Coming from Lagos, I felt like
not a lot of people understood me. I just felt like an alien. [KORTY] Do you still feel like an alien? [WAVY] Yeah, sometimes. Especially when I came to Lagos.
I was supposed to be coming back home. But it felt like I was in a foreign land. Where there'd been a lot
of misconceptions about who I am. Everywhere I went to, it's just like
I either got stares or questions. But I embraced it
