Why Did I Get Married Too?

He ain't either one. That's why, I got his cell phone right here and I'm waitin' for it to...

Dianne:

How do you really know that you're spouse is cheating anyway? I mean really? Sheila:
If you think he's cheating, then he's cheating. Dianne:
Wait a second, just because you suspect, that doesn't mean it's truth... it just doesn't. Angela:
I disagree with that. Dianne, every time I caught Marcus cheating, I knew it before I found out. I know because I know how to listen to that voice on the inside of me, that tells me when a man is cheating. Dianne:
mmhmm, that voice... Sheila:
Yeah, but you smoked so much weed in college, baby, you might not want to listen to that voice in *your* head, It's probably *still* high. [laughs] Sheila:
... Seriously, if you're always in a chemically induced state, you might want to reconsider everything that you're doing... and thinking too. Angela:
What is this, an intervention? That has absolutely nothing to do with it. I know how to tell. If your man, if he goes to work all day long and then comes home, smellin' like a fresh bar of soap, somethings up. I ain't got time to be sittin' around all day guessin'. Sheila:
Relationships are supposed to be about... trust. Angela:
Now, I'm an old school fool. I'm checkin' his bank statements, I'm checkin' his credit card statements, I'm checkin' his time card at work and I'm comparin' it to the hours that he said he was workin' and it better match the money that he has comin' home. I'm checkin' his cell phone bill, I'm checkin' the numbers that he was callin' on his cell phone bill, I'm checkin' his mileage in the car. His job is 10.5 miles, the kid's school is 2.1 miles. I check the mileage when he goes to Terry and Dianne's house. That is 6.7 miles... and when any of those miles come back 2.2 or 5.6 or 7.9 or 10.7... if he comes back and I see 4.8th and a half of a mile, that means he came from Keisha house, he road to the store to get come breath spray... Sheila:
Do you check his pulse when he walks through the door? Angela:
His resting heart rate is 42 beats a minute. If Marcus comes home to the house and he claim he was at work all day, if that resting heartbeat is 58 beats a minute, he been *cheatin*! Dianne:
I'm not doin' all that. That's a full time job. Sheila:
Exactly! Angela:
The bottom line, is that I *have* to check him. All that time I spent, trainin' that man on how to be right for me, you think that I'm really gonna let some other woman take *all* that on the job training? Dianne:
What is he, a man or a puppy? cause... Angela:
He ain't either one. That's why, I got his cell phone right here and I'm waitin' for it to ring

00:00:03.000 --> 00:00:06.336
How do you really know that your spouse is cheating, anyway? I mean, really.
00:00:06.421 --> 00:00:09.631
If you think he's cheating, then he's cheating.
00:00:09.715 --> 00:00:12.175
Wait a second, just because you suspect,
00:00:12.026 --> 00:00:14.428
that doesn't mean that it's the truth. It just doesn't.
00:00:14.512 --> 00:00:16.388
I disagree with that.
00:00:16.472 --> 00:00:18.765
Dianne, every time I caught Marcus cheating,
00:00:18.085 --> 00:00:20.684
I knew it before I found out.
00:00:20.768 --> 00:00:24.729
I know because I know how to listen to that voice on the inside of me
00:00:24.814 --> 00:00:26.857
that tells me when a man is cheating.
00:00:26.941 --> 00:00:28.275
The voice?
00:00:29.402 --> 00:00:32.571
Yeah, but you smoked so much weed in college!
00:00:32.655 --> 00:00:35.574
Baby, you might not want to listen to that voice in your head.
00:00:35.658 --> 00:00:37.993
It's probably still high.
00:00:41.456 --> 00:00:45.542
Seriously, if you're always in a chemically induced state,
00:00:45.626 --> 00:00:48.999
you might want to reconsider
00:00:48.171 --> 00:00:50.422
everything that you're doing.
00:00:50.506 --> 00:00:52.424
And thinking, too.
00:00:52.508 --> 00:00:54.134
What is this, an intervention?
00:00:54.218 --> 00:00:57.262
That has absolutely nothing to do with it.
00:00:57.346 --> 00:00:58.513
I know how to tell.
00:00:58.598 --> 00:01:01.725
If your man, if he goes to work all day long
00:01:01.809 --> 00:01:04.001
and then comes home smelling like a fresh bar of soap,
00:01:04.077 --> 00:01:09.107
something's up. I ain't got time to be sitting around all day guessing.
00:01:09.999 --> 00:01:11.943
Relationships are supposed to be about
00:01:13.154 --> 00:01:15.363
- trust. - No, I'm an old-school fool.
00:01:15.999 --> 00:01:18.742
I'm checking his bank statements, I'm checking his credit card statements,
00:01:18.999 --> 00:01:21.828
I'm checking his time card at work and I'm comparing it
00:01:21.913 --> 00:01:23.083
to the hours that he said he was working
00:01:23.001 --> 00:01:26.291
and it better match the money he has coming home.
00:01:26.375 --> 00:01:27.959
I'm checking his cell phone bill,
00:01:28.997 --> 00:01:30.001
I'm checking the numbers that he was calling on his cell phone bill.
00:01:30.001 --> 00:01:32.839
I'm checking his mileage in the car.
00:01:32.001 --> 00:01:35.055
His job is 10.5 miles.
00:01:35.001 --> 00:01:38.994
The kids' school is 2.1 miles.
00:01:38.179 --> 00:01:40.001
I checked the mileage when he goes to Terry and Dianne's house.
00:01:40.723 --> 00:01:42.599
That is 6.7 miles.
00:01:42.001 --> 00:01:48.605
And when any of those miles come back 2.2, or 5.6, or 7.9, or 10.7...
00:01:48.999 --> 00:01:50.148
If he comes back
00:01:50.233 --> 00:01:53.652
and I see 4.8 and a half of a mile,
00:01:53.736 --> 00:01:55.999
that means he came from Keisha's house,
00:01:55.446 --> 00:01:57.739
he rode to the store to get some breath spray...
00:01:57.999 --> 00:02:00.492
Do you check his pulse when he walks through the door?
00:02:00.999 --> 00:02:03.328
His resting heart rate is 42 beats a minute.
00:02:03.001 --> 00:02:06.001
If Marcus comes home to the house and he claims he was at work all day,
00:02:06.874 --> 00:02:11.999
if that resting heart beat is 58 beats a minute, he's been cheating.
00:02:11.999 --> 00:02:13.999
I'm not doing all that. That's a full-time job.
00:02:13.923 --> 00:02:16.005
- Exactly. - The bottom line
00:02:16.999 --> 00:02:18.999
is that I have to check him.
00:02:18.261 --> 00:02:22.001
All that time I spent training that man on how to be right for me,
00:02:22.999 --> 00:02:26.101
you think that I'm really gonna let some other woman
00:02:26.185 --> 00:02:28.001
take all that on-the-job training?
00:02:28.001 --> 00:02:31.648
- What is he, a man or a puppy? 'Cause... - He ain't either one.
00:02:31.732 --> 00:02:36.999
That's why I got his cell phone right here, and I'm waiting for it to ring.
00:02:45.001 --> 00:02:48.999
I just hate that Gavin and Patricia are going through this.
00:02:48.708 --> 00:02:50.292
It's unbelievable, really.
00:02:51.001 --> 00:02:53.999
Dianne, what happened?
00:02:54.422 --> 00:02:56.881
They want a divorce, that's all I can tell you.
00:03:00.803 --> 00:03:03.001
- I can't say anything. Stop asking me. - Ring the doorbell.
00:03:05.999 --> 00:03:06.999
Patricia!
00:03:06.809 --> 00:03:09.001
Her car is out there. I don't know why she's not answering.
00:03:09.001 --> 00:03:10.001
Hey, babe, it's us.
00:03:11.999 --> 00:03:12.999
Come on, let us in.
00:03:12.069 --> 00:03:14.858
We're worried about you, baby, please.
00:03:53.999 --> 00:03:54.999
Hey.
00:03:55.483 --> 00:03:58.001
- Hey, where you been? - I went out with the girls.
00:03:59.999 --> 00:04:00.999
Where's our son?
00:04:01.001 --> 00:04:03.001
I put him down about an hour ago.
00:04:04.999 --> 00:04:06.999
- Okay. - Babe...
00:04:06.911 --> 00:04:08.536
I'm sorry.
00:04:10.999 --> 00:04:12.999
You know, I thought you'd left me.
00:04:14.001 --> 00:04:15.001
Why would you think that?
00:04:16.859 --> 00:04:19.955
Because every time we get into it, you threaten to leave me.
00:04:19.975 --> 00:04:20.997
I'm not gonna leave you.
00:04:22.001 --> 00:04:23.999
Good.
00:04:24.002 --> 00:04:25.997
'Cause I don't want you to leave.
00:04:27.999 --> 00:04:31.003
Baby, married people argue, even in a good marriage.
00:04:31.997 --> 00:04:33.001
- I know. - We got a good marriage.
00:04:36.003 --> 00:04:39.977
I don't know what I'd do without you.
00:04:44.001 --> 00:04:45.001
I cooked.
00:04:50.001 --> 00:04:52.001
Smells good.
00:04:53.002 --> 00:04:55.027
You want some?
00:04:59.755 --> 00:05:01.214
I got a job.
00:05:03.998 --> 00:05:07.137
- I got a job! - Oh, babe, that's great!
00:05:07.221 --> 00:05:08.998
I start tomorrow.
00:05:10.002 --> 00:05:15.998
I mean, it... It just came out of nowhere. It was the craziest thing.
00:05:16.988 --> 00:05:18.999
- Told you. - Oh, man.
00:05:24.697 --> 00:05:26.001
Sorry, man. I saw that, though.
00:05:26.001 --> 00:05:29.002
I'm sitting at home watching it going, "This is crazy!"
00:05:29.003 --> 00:05:31.997
What's up, Gavin?
00:05:31.998 --> 00:05:33.998
- Hey, hey! - Hey.
00:05:34.999 --> 00:05:35.002
You good, buddy?
00:05:36.003 --> 00:05:37.005
Yeah.
00:05:52.999 --> 00:05:53.999
What's up, man?
00:05:54.997 --> 00:05:55.081
What's happening, Gavin?
00:05:56.001 --> 00:05:58.002
Are you all right?
00:05:58.002 --> 00:05:59.999
Yeah, yeah.
00:05:59.003 --> 00:06:00.003
You ready to move?
00:06:02.001 --> 00:06:03.998
Yeah.
00:06:06.997 --> 00:06:08.001
Are you gonna open the door?
00:06:10.999 --> 00:06:11.002
Yeah.
00:06:14.999 --> 00:06:16.002
Gavin!
00:06:17.997 --> 00:06:18.625
She changed the locks.
00:06:20.001 --> 00:06:22.999
Are you crazy?
00:06:31.977 --> 00:06:33.999
Gavin! Man, did you just throw a...
00:06:34.517 --> 00:06:36.997
Gavin, man, what are you... What are you doing?
00:06:36.998 --> 00:06:38.999
We came to help you move. I don't want to be a part of no crap with y'all.
00:06:38.999 --> 00:06:41.999
No, that's fine. Okay, I have some suitcases and boxes over there,
00:06:41.069 --> 00:06:44.998
- some other stuff in this. - Where's Patricia? Is she at work?
00:06:44.998 --> 00:06:47.654
I don't know. I waited across the street for her to leave. So...
00:06:47.738 --> 00:06:49.998
This dude just threw a ficus through the window!
00:06:49.001 --> 00:06:53.002
Waiting for her... What... Man, this is not healthy. Come on, Gavin, I mean, come on!
00:06:53.786 --> 00:06:55.995
Stop this, okay? Please, stop it.
00:06:56.984 --> 00:06:57.001
- She cheated on you, didn't she? - No.
00:06:57.999 --> 00:06:59.002
- You cheated? - No.
00:06:59.003 --> 00:07:01.209
Damn, everybody ain't cheating, okay...
00:07:01.001 --> 00:07:05.022
Look, guys, please. Hurry up and help me get my stuff before she comes back.
