My surgeon said,
"Your foot splinted." He said, "We've gotta get the chisel and hit it with a hammer
and get the bone spurs off which were splintered." And I said, "Look, I can't
have three months off." I said,
"What's the worst case scenario?" He said,
"Well, eventually the splinters will come through the surface." And he said,
"Then you can pull 'em out but it'll be very, very painful." And I said, "Well, I'll do that." And when you have an injury, you
have to then go to the FAA doctor and pass medicals.
I knew I wouldn't pass a medical 'cause if they examined it
and touched it, I'd pass out
