As you plan your storage,
it pays to think laterally. A conventional door and a hinge
takes up a lot of floor space in a small room, but
it doesn't have to be that way. Because you're building
these beautiful bookcases or shelving,
you have the opportunity to create a little pocket
for sliding doors. So you have a wall. Yeah.
And you build up a false wall. Yes. So in this instance,
we've got book shelving. So, rather than building the
book shelf tight against the wall, you offset them by about 50mm, and you can slip your door
into that. So, when they're open,
they're just hidden. Is it pricey to do that? No. No. Because something works
really well and looks slick doesn't necessarily mean
it's really expensive
