Self - Filmmaker: It's hard to keep the audiences' attention when you show them everything. And the problem with most films is, is it, you hear it, you see exactly what it is, if you're talking, there's a big closeup of your face, so we know that you're talking and we hear it. So, I think the mandated film is to hide that. To make the audience, "Oh, what's going on? I don't quite see that. And, oh! You think that's..." So that - the goose bumps can come out. It's hard to keep the audience's attention
00:00:03.135 --> 00:00:06.999
when you show them everything
00:00:06.999 --> 00:00:08.107
And the problem with most films is
00:00:08.107 --> 00:00:11.477
is that you hear it you see exactly what it is
00:00:11.477 --> 00:00:14.913
If you're talking there's a big close up of your face
00:00:14.913 --> 00:00:17.746
So we know that you're talking And we hear it
00:00:19.351 --> 00:00:24.556
So I think the mandate in film is to hide that
00:00:24.556 --> 00:00:26.058
to make the audience
00:00:26.058 --> 00:00:28.994
What's going on I don't quite see that
00:00:28.994 --> 00:00:30.963
Do you think that's
00:00:30.963 --> 00:00:35.801
So that the goose bumps can come out
00:00:35.801 --> 00:00:39.972
Otherwise you're sitting there drinking Coca Cola
00:00:39.972 --> 00:00:41.906
and eating a hotdog
