After tearing out the bad wood, we removed the faulty pipes,
which are no longer needed here. Then we install fresh
anchor beams along the walls. Finally, we attach the rest of the new crossbeams across the floor,
making them level, and extending out the ones that will form the base
of our new balcony. The sticks cost us some time, but we got it done right
