We're two weeks into this flip and the surveyor still hasn't
made it out here, but we can't afford to wait. We're cranking ahead with the
roofwork that we need done. Our roofers strip off
all the old ratty shingles, install a new underlayment. Then they put on
new asphalt shingles, which are algae-resistant,
and in a light gray color, so it reflects the sunlight
and keeps the interior cool
