The Sisyphus Quantum Cooling Reactor. We call it "Sissy" for short. You see all these?...
Something wrong with the clip?

[at the lab, Ryan shows Tree and Carter the device that caused the time-loop in the first movie]
Ryan Phan:
The Sisyphus Quantum Cooling Reactor. We call it "Sissy" for short. You see all these? They're proton lasers, and when they fire, they cool the centrifuge right here to almost below one nanokelvin. So, basically, we're trying to prove that time can be slowed down on a molecular level. It hasn't worked yet, but we did find some promising data, after the device fired the other night.
Tree Gelbman:
When?
Ryan Phan:
12:01 AM yesterday.
Tree Gelbman:
[shakes her head]
Monday the 18th.
Ryan Phan:
[nods]
Mm-hmm.
[Tree gives Ryan a murderous look]
Ryan Phan:
What?
Tree Gelbman:
You created the time-loop, dummy!
[Tree, Carter, Ryan, Samar and Dre sit at the cafe. Tree explains them what happened in the previous film]
Ryan Phan:
That's impossible. That's not what Sissy was designed to do.
Tree Gelbman:
I don't know what to tell you.
Samar Ghosh:
Well, maybe we're just discovering what it actually does.
Andrea 'Dre' Morgan:
An unintended reaction. Maybe we thought we were slowing time, but what if we looped it instead?
Tree Gelbman:
[to Ryan]
Now you're stuck in this day. Congrats. Oh, and by the way? You're going to die. Again... and again... and again.
Ryan Phan:
[cringes]
Carter, tell your girlfriend to stop trying to scare me.
Carter Davis:
Oh, she's not my girlfriend.
[Tree gives Carter an offended look]
Carter Davis:
Well, wait, are you my girlfriend?
[Tree remembers that from Carter's perspective, they know each other only for one day]
Tree Gelbman:
Kinda.

They're proton lasers

And when they fire
00:00:10.578 --> 00:00:12.055
they go to the centrifuge right here

00:17 Here I thought I was stuck in the same day
00:17 But a parsec is a measure of distance not time
00:11 Guys focus
00:36 There were two of me
00:35 Wait when were you gonna tell me
00:15 Look no offense but how could you
00:36 Listen to me carefully
00:36 Oh hey you're up
00:34 Hey hey it's okay
00:21 What time is it
00:35 Then you multiply the Euclidean vector
00:34 Great I have to manually reenter all this code
00:22 You know what I'm craving right now
00:31 Tree what is going on
00:36 You ready
00:33 Gracias Okay shall we
00:35 Tree will you please tell me what's going on
